This Privacy Policy describes how Getting There ("the App") handles information when you use the App on your device.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information.
To show real-time train departures, the App makes requests to the Irish Rail public API. These requests include the station you have selected. No account, login, or personal details are required or used.
The App may request access to your device's location solely to help identify nearby stations. Your location is used on-device only and is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can deny location permission and still use the App by searching for stations manually.
Any preferences you set (such as favourite stations) are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device.
The App connects to the Irish Rail real-time data API to retrieve departure information. Please refer to Irish Rail's own privacy policy for information on their data practices.
The App does not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or any other third-party tracking services.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
